What platforms can I trade on?
We offer MetaTrader 5 (MT5) as our trading platform.
What products can I trade?
You can trade any products streamed by the Liquidity Provider into the available platforms, as such products may change from time to time. This includes FX pairs and CFDs on Indices, Commodities, Metals, and Cryptocurrencies.
Can I use an automated strategy?
Subject to our policy on Prohibited Trading, you can trade using an automated strategy.
What are the trading hours?
Trading hours are generally set by the Liquidity Provider, unless set by our rules. You can view market hours per symbol inside MetaTrader 5: in the Market Watch window, right-click the symbol and select "Specification" to see its trading sessions.
Holidays may affect available trading hours. All open trades are closed at 3:45pm EST on Fridays. If a holiday falls on a Friday and the markets are closed, you are responsible for closing positions before the markets close on the prior Thursday.
Do your accounts charge commissions?
Assessment and Funded Accounts receive the same pricing and commissions as charged by our Liquidity Provider to other, self-funded retail trading accounts.
Where do I track the progress of my account?
Upon purchasing an Assessment, you will receive access to a trader dashboard where you can monitor your Assessment and Funded Accounts. The dashboard is updated in near real time. It is your responsibility to monitor your breach levels.
Can I use my own trading account for the Assessment?
No. Our risk-management software is synced with the accounts we create, which lets us analyze performance in real time for achievements and rule violations. You must use an account that we provide.
How will I see the charge on my statement?
Charges come across in the name of dashboardanalytix.com.
What is the minimum age to take part?
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the applicable minimum legal age in your country, to purchase an assessment.
What countries are accepted?
Subject to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, traders from all countries, excluding OFAC-listed countries, can take part in our program, unless otherwise limited at the Company's discretion.
How are taxes handled?
When trading a Funded Account, you are treated as an independent contractor. As a result, you are responsible for any and all taxes on your gains.
How are affiliates credited?
Affiliates are credited for referrals when a user creates an account using a link or discount code provided by the Affiliate.
Plans, leverage & limits
What plans are available?
We currently offer three plan frameworks: One Step, Two Step, and Three Step. See the Challenges page for the specific targets and risk limits for each.
What is the leverage?
- One Step: up to 20:1 on Forex and Metals, 10:1 on Indices, 5:1 on Oil, 2:1 on Cryptocurrencies.
- Two Step: up to 30:1 on Forex and Metals; other instruments as above.
- Three Step: up to 20:1 on Forex and Metals; other instruments as above.
How many Assessments and Funded Accounts can I have at once?
You may take only one evaluation of a specific account size and plan tier at a time across all platforms. For example, one $100k One Step Plan and one $100k Two Step Plan can be active together, but not two $100k One Step Plans on different platforms.
Up to $1,000,000 in active evaluation plans per person is permitted, provided none are the same account size within the same Step framework. Up to $1,000,000 in active funded plans per person is permitted. If you hold two funded accounts of the same size, you may keep one open at a time, or, if no trading has taken place in either, combine them into a single account of double the size.
Are there compounding limits?
No. There are no limits on compounding. You may start with up to $1,000,000 of initial funding and grow the account to any balance.
What add-ons are available?
At purchase you can add Hold Over Weekend (10% of plan cost), which disables the Flat for Weekend requirement (only crypto trades over the weekend), and Profit Share Increased to 90% (20% of plan cost), which raises your funded profit share from the standard 75% to 90%.
What is 1 lot equal to?
- Forex: 1 lot = $100k notional
- Index: 1 lot = 1 contract (SPX500 1 lot = 10 contracts; JPN225 1 lot = 500 contracts)
- Cryptos: 1 lot = 1 coin
- Silver: 1 lot = 5,000 ounces
- Gold: 1 lot = 100 ounces
- Oil: 1 lot = 100 barrels
Trading rules
What is the difference between a hard breach and a soft breach?
Soft breach: we close all trades that violated the rule, but you can continue trading. Hard breach: you violated the Daily Loss Limit, Max Drawdown, or Inactivity rule. A hard breach fails the Assessment or removes your Funded Account.
How is the Daily Loss Limit calculated?
It resets each day at 5:00 PM EST and is calculated using the greater of the prior day's end-of-day balance (closed P&L only) or end-of-day equity (balance plus open P&L). See the Trading Objectives page for a worked example.
How is the Max Drawdown calculated?
Static Max Drawdown is set at a defined percentage of your starting balance and does not trail. The Maximum Trailing Drawdown trails using closed balance (not equity) until a pre-defined return is achieved, then locks at your starting balance.
Is there a breach for inactivity?
Yes. If you do not have any trading activity on your account for 30 consecutive days, your account will be breached.
Can I hold positions over the weekend?
All trades must be closed by 3:45pm EST on Friday unless the Hold Over Weekend add-on has been purchased. Trades left open are automatically closed. This is a soft breach, and you can continue trading once markets reopen. Only crypto instruments are available for weekend trading.
Can I trade during news events?
Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a News Event is prohibited. Such positions may be closed and the associated P&L removed, leverage may be reduced, or the account may be breached. The Company has sole and absolute discretion in determining what constitutes a News Event. The rule is not meant to penalize traders who inadvertently trade through a news event.
Can I use copy trading?
Group trading, signal services, passing services, and any other methods that bypass individual strategy are not allowed. Copy trading from one account to another is permitted only if you own all of the accounts involved.
What counts as prohibited trading?
See the full list on the Trading Objectives page and in the Terms and Conditions. If Prohibited Trading is detected, participation may be terminated and may include forfeiture of fees paid.
Funded accounts & payouts
What are the rules for the Funded Account?
The rules are exactly the same as for your Assessment account. The only difference is that there is no profit target on a Funded Account.
How long does it take to receive my Funded Account?
After passing, you'll receive an email with instructions for completing KYC verification and your Trader Agreement. Once both are completed and supporting documentation is provided, your Funded Account is typically created and issued within 24–48 business hours.
Is the Funded Account a demo or live account?
Once you pass, we provide a Funded Account backed by our capital. The capital is notional and may not match the amount on deposit with the Liquidity Provider. Notional funding does not impact your trading conditions in any way.
How do I withdraw my gains?
Click Withdraw Profits in your trader dashboard and enter the amount. Your first withdrawal can be requested at any time; after that, no more frequently than once per 30 days. Approved withdrawals are paid via the available outbound payment solutions, subject to the applicable payment split.
How does a withdrawal affect my trailing drawdown?
When a withdrawal is approved, we also withdraw our share of the gains and your max trailing drawdown locks at your starting balance. It does not reset. A full withdrawal of gains will trigger the breach rule and forfeit the Funded Account. See the worked example.
If I hard-breach with gains, do I forfeit them?
No. If you have gains in your Funded Account at the time of a hard breach, you may still request the withdrawal of your portion of those gains.
Am I subject to position limits?
The maximum position you may open is generally determined by your available margin. We reserve the right to increase margin requirements, limit max order size or the number of open positions, and revise drawdown levels in response to market conditions. We or the Liquidity Provider may refuse any order.
Do you manipulate pricing or executions?
No. We do not have control over pricing from the Liquidity Provider or over the execution of your trades.
Who is the counterparty to my trades?
To manage risk and minimize transaction costs, we may offset market risk and act as the direct counterparty to certain trades, executed at prices provided by arm's-length third parties. Your gain or loss is not calculated differently either way. However, when we act as counterparty there is an inherent potential conflict of interest, because your trades do not result in a net gain or loss to us as they would if we were not the direct counterparty.
